Hong Kong, China on Sunday secured another medal at this year's World Games in Chengdu as wakesurf athlete Harry Cheng won bronze in the Men's Wake Surf Skim event.
This is the fourth medal for the SAR after the team clinched three golds since the tournament kicked off on August 7.
Cheng gained a score of 59, putting him in third place among six contestants in the finals.
The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee congratulated Cheng and the waterski team for their achievements in the sport, that's making its debut at the World Games.
"Cheng demonstrated exceptional balance and coordination in the finals, performing an impressive array of tricks with swift and agile moves," said Chef de Mission Wong Po-kee.
"Cheng claiming a medal in his debut on this world stage speaks volumes about Hong Kong's growing prowess in water sports," Wong added.
