Team Hong Kong, China on Saturday won the Lunar New Year Cup following a penalty shootout against FC Seoul from K League 1.

Winger Juninho opened the Year of the Horse with a bang, heading home a Jay Haddow cross to score the first half goal for the SAR.

In the second half, the visitors equalised through substitute Patryk Klimala, as the forward latched on a through ball to beat goalkeeper Tse Ka-wing.

The home side eventually won the penalty shootout 6-5, to the delight of more than 14,000 spectators at the Hong Kong Stadium.
