Fencing world champion Ryan Choi and Olympic medallist swimmer Siobhan Haughey were crowned the "best of the best" at the Hong Kong Sports Stars Awards on Tuesday.
It's the first time that Choi, who clinched the city's first-ever Fencing World Championships gold in 2025, has won the top accolade in the men's category. He came ahead of four others, including tennis star Coleman Wong and rower Chiu Hin-chun.
Haughey took home the women's award for the fourth time, defeating the likes of cyclist Ceci Lee and fencer Kaylin Hsieh.
Choi and his teammates Edgar Cheung, Leung Chin-yu and Lawrence Ng were named as one of the three best teams of the year, alongside the badminton mixed doubles pair of Jordan Tang and Tse Ying-suet, and table tennis men's duo Wong Chun-ting and Baldwin Chan.
The Hong Kong, China men's handball team got the award for "team only sport".
