Hong Kong, China tennis star Coleman Wong is set to appear in the main draw of the French Open, despite losing in the qualifiers.

He becomes the first player from the territory to play in the main draw at Roland Garros.

The 21-year-old got the lucky loser spot to make a grand slam draw appearance again after a US player quit due to injury.

World number 113 Wong is set to face Alexander Blockx from Belgium who ranked 36 in the first round.

The SAR player made history last year by being the first SAR player to play at the US Open in Open Era.
