The world is braced to see how Iran will respond, after the United States attacked three key Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend. The move sees the US join Israel in the biggest Western military action against the Islamic Republic since 1979. Iran's first move after the strikes was to fire another volley of missiles at Israel, which saw scores of people wounded and flattened buildings in Tel Aviv. Jamie Clarke reports:

Nations have been reacting to the US strikes on Iran. US allies have urged a return to the negotiating table amid fears the strikes will fuel a wider conflict, while also noting the supposed threat posed by Tehran’s nuclear programme. Some countries and groups in the Middle East, including those that support Iran, have condemned America's move and urged de-escalation. Jamie Clarke reports:

Paul Rogers, Professor of Peace Studies at Bradford University, says it's "unlikely" Iran will engage in any peace negotiations and the conflict could escalate. He told Natale Ching that the American attacks meant the US was "fully in the war against Iran with Israel":

As Hong Kong prepares to mark five years since the implementation of the National Security Law, officials have been holding a series of events promoting the importance of national security, and the need for patriotic education. Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office director Xia Baolong also warned in a major address over the weekend that foreign powers are still trying to meddle in Hong Kong affairs, adding that the territory's continued vigilance against national security threats must come hand-in-hand with its future development. Einar Tangen, a senior fellow at the Taihe Institute and chairman of Asia Narratives, agrees that external threats remain, saying the United States in particular would like to use Hong Kong as a way to attack national security. He spoke to Frank Yung about how the national security law had helped the territory ward off such threats:

A new cross-border electronic payment service has had a smooth start. Thousands of payments were made via the new Payment Connect systems on its first day of operation on Sunday. The new service links up Hong Kong's Faster Payment System (FPS) with the mainland's Internet Banking Payment System, allowing FPS users to transfer up to HK$10,000 a day per account to the mainland with an annual cap set at HK$200,000. Finance sector lawmaker Ronick Chan told Wallis Wang that the new system had so far proven to be a quick and easy money transfer mechanism:

RSV cases underestimated in HK, warns doctor  Listenfacebook
RSV is a highly contagious and very common virus which an estimated 70 percent of infants will catch before they turn one. In most cases, it causes cold-like upper respiratory symptoms but can lead to pneumonia in serious cases and require hospitalisation. Some experts believe the actual number of cases is underestimated and say it's important for parents to practise good hygiene to protect vulnerable young children. Dr Mike Kwan, president of the Asian Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases, told Hailey Yip that prevention of RSV was better than cure:
