The latest steps reflect an evolving approach from the American leader who had promised to swiftly resolve the war when he returned to office in January. SynCab premium taxis roll out full service

The first of five new taxi fleets in Hong Kong - as part of the trade's revamp - is now offering full services after being granted a five-year licence by the government. SynCab has 160 cabs, despite promising to operate 425 when it applied for a licence. Despite the shortfall, its founder and executive director, Sonia Cheng, stressed their desire to offer quality services. She spoke to Lauren Kee:
University entrance exam results due on Wednesday

A youth organisation says Form Six students who sat the Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) exam should be ready to accept all possible results and form their future plans accordingly. Clement Ng, the student guidance consultant of the Hok Yau Club, said this would help reduce anxiety among students about their results. This year's DSE results will be released on Wednesday. As for parents, Ng said they should offer support for their children if results fall short of expectations. He spoke to Janice Lo:

A recent summit of Brics countries in Brazil has highlighted its commitments to reforming and improving global governance by expanding Global South cooperation. Premier Li Qiang, who was at the high-level gathering, says China is to work in unity with developing countries to promote an equal and orderly multipolar world, along with economic globalisation that benefits everyone. In this week's "China Perspectives" podcast, Fabio Massimo Parenti, associate professor of International Studies at China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, said Brics was working towards the democratisation of international relations and giving everyone a voice on the global stage. China's exports accelerate in June amid tariff reprieve

Indian activists are calling on authorities to come up with a comprehensive plan to deal with thousands of refugees who've sought shelter in the northeastern state of Mizoram. A theatre production of Anton Chekhov's classic The Cherry Orchard - directed by renowned Australian director Simon Stone and featuring a stellar Korean cast - along with top music and dance performances are just some of the highlights of this year's Asia+ festival. The three-month event is hosted by the government and starts in September. It's a platform for performers from around the world to showcase their talent in Hong Kong.
