'SCO bears greater responsibilities for keeping peace'

President Xi Jinping said the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or SCO, is shouldering greater responsibilities for safeguarding regional peace and stability. SAR to share judgments in IP rights with WIPO

The government will sign a memorandum of understanding with the World Intellectual Property Organisation on Monday. As Elvis Yu reports, the SAR will be sharing the judgments of the city's judiciary in the field of intellectual property rights with the organisation's database.

One in four teenagers show signs of depression: poll

A poll suggests that around one in four secondary students are suffering from "medium to severe" levels of depression and anxiety, a slight uptick from last year. The Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service asked more than 1,800 students to fill in self-evaluation forms, between last November and March. About one in five indicated they were stressed out. The NGO's clinical psychologist, Jeff Kei, told Damon Pang the numbers are a little concerning:
Beijing adds 34 sites to list of war memorials

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs in Beijing said more than 30 memorial facilities and historic sites have been included in the latest list of designated sites related to the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Wallis Wang has the details:

Flying Tiger relics keep wartime stories for posterity

Hamas spokesperson killed in strike, Israel says

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said Hamas' armed wing spokesperson, Abu Obeida, had been killed by the Israeli military in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier that he had been targeted in a joint operation carried out by the military and the Shin Bet domestic intelligence service in Gaza on Saturday.
Yemen's Houthi rebels detain at least 11 UN staff

The United Nations says Yemen's Houthis have detained at least 11 workers in raids on UN premises, after rebel authorities made numerous arrests following Israel's killing of their prime minister and several cabinet members last Thursday. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for their "immediate and unconditional release". This comes after the Houthis' leader said attacks on Israel will escalate. Jamie Clarke has more:
Anti-immigration protests in Australia condemned by govt

Thousands in Australia have joined marches against immigration. The rallies have been condemned by the government, saying they sought to spread hate and were linked to the far-right and neo-Nazis. Australia, where one in two people is either born overseas or has a parent born overseas, has been grappling with a rise in right-wing extremism. Earlier this year, the country made the Nazi salute punishable by a mandatory prison term. Jamie Clarke has more:

Interest spikes for artwork in France ahead of loan to Britain

Crowds have been paying a last visit to the Bayeux Tapestry in France, before it goes on a contentious loan to Britain. Crowds flocked to the museum that houses the piece across the weekend, with the building set to close for renovation work. During the museum's closure, the piece will be loaned to Britain, a move that critics say could damage the almost thousand-year-old artwork. Jamie Clarke has more:
Wong stays upbeat despite defeat to Rublev at US Open

In sports...tennis star Coleman Wong has returned to Hong Kong following his historic run at the US Open in New York. The 21-year-old put up a spirited fight in his third-round tie against world number 15 Andrey Rublev, and pushed the Russian to five sets before he was knocked out. Speaking to reporters at the airport, Wong said there were many lessons to take away from his match:
