Trump's Gaza plan wins Netanyahu backing  Listenfacebook
US President Donald Trump says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a US-sponsored Gaza peace proposal. The two leaders made the announcement following talks at the White House. Mr Trump urged Hamas to accept the so-called 20-point plan, which includes a gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from the enclave. Jamie Clarke reports:

A new immigration clearance channel using facial recognition technology will be in use at the airport starting on Tuesday. Hong Kong residents who are 11 or older no longer need to show their travel documents when they enter the SAR. An assistant immigration director, Or Chung-yuk, says the department is hoping to expand the new service across all e-channel counters next year. He says each traveller only takes seven seconds to go through the new channel - 13 percent faster than the current e-channels:
2.2 percent pay rise for foreign domestic helpers  Listenfacebook
Foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong will see their minimum wage go up by 2.2 percent - to HK$5,100 a month. As Elvis Yu reports, the new pay will apply to contracts signed starting from Tuesday.

Three government departments have been selected to be in the first batch of a trial scheme to try out the use of AI to raise efficiency, according to innovation chief Sun Dong. The move is part of a broader push for the use of AI in the government as proposed by the chief executive. A court in Zhejiang has sentenced 11 people to death for operating notorious scam centres in Myanmar. The court said they were members of a gang that established multiple compounds in the Kokang region near the border with China, and killed people who tried to escape from the group or disobeyed its management. Meta's latest smartglasses ran into glitches when the owner of the tech giant, Mark Zuckerberg, unveiled them during the firm's annual Connect event. Still, the Meta Ray-Ban Display gives a futuristic experience with a built-in display that enables features like reading messages, seeing photo previews and reading live captions all while having a conversation with someone. Smart-glasses have been launched commercially in the past, but haven't really caught on in terms of popularity. RTHK's tech expert Raj Shroff told Azam Khan more about the features of smart glasses:
