Patients suffering from the so-called "three highs" - high blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood lipids - face more than a 70 percent risk of recurrent major adverse cardiovascular events within 10 years. That's according to researchers from the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine. The team assessed about 1,250 patients who have conditions of heart diseases and have suffered strokes in a study launched last year, aiming to enhance the accuracy of an AI-powered risk assessment model P-Cardiac, which predicts cardiovascular risks. Assistant professor Celine Chui, who heads the research, told Charlie Chun more about the study.

Hamas says it has expanded its search for bodies of hostages in the Gaza Strip. The announcement comes a day after Egypt deployed a team of experts and heavy equipment to help retrieve them. In a blunder that has shocked the UK, a former asylum seeker and convicted sex offender was mistakenly set free from a prison. Hadush Kebatu, an Ethiopian national, was eventually captured following a 48-hour manhunt. But many questions remain over what has been described as a human error.
