Health authorities have reported three new cases of chikungunya fever on Monday. One of them is a 55-year-old woman who lives in Wong Tai Sin, where Hong Kong's first local infection was reported the day before. A primary school next to the estate where the locally infected case lives has taken precautionary measures to safeguard students, while the Centre for Health Protection will step up mosquito control in the district. US President Donald Trump has arrived in Japan, the second stop on his three-country Asia tour. He met with Emperor Naruhito on Monday and is set to hold bilateral talks with newly-elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. Trump had just concluded a visit to Malaysia, where he presided over a peace deal between Thailand and Cambodia. The US President says he may sign a final deal on Tik Tok this week. Donald Trump said he has received what he described as a provisional approval from President Xi Jinping whom he is expected to meet in South Korea on Thursday. Trump was speaking in Kuala Lumpur after leaving an Asean summit early to fly to Japan on the next leg of his Asian tour. At the conference in the Malaysian capital, Premier Li Qiang called for opposition to protectionism. He said free trade must be championed, and differences should be resolved through talks.
