Hongkongers urged to support organ donation program  Listenfacebook
Ministers and health officials have urged Hongkongers to support the city's organ donation scheme. They say more than 2,000 people are waiting for a transplant and many patients die before an organ becomes available. It comes after authorities accused people of vilifying plans for a cross-border organ donation scheme and encouraging thousands of withdrawals from the local donor registry. Vanessa Cheng reports:

Justice Secretary Paul Lam says authorities hope to enact Basic Law Article 23 national security legislation this year, or by the end of next year at the latest. Lam says the issue may come up during his trip to Beijing this week. Violet Wong reports:

Hong Kong's new electronic toll system has now been extended to the Lion Rock Tunnel which connects Sha Tin and Kowloon Tong. It was off to a smooth start on Sunday but officials said the real test would come during Monday's rush hour. Wendy Wong reports:
'Provide flexible hours to enlist more female drivers'  Listenfacebook
Transport consultant, Alok Jain, says a plan to import mainland minibus drivers to address a labour shortage could work as long as there are “guardrails” in place. Jain, managing director of Trans-Consult Asia, said the wages and working conditions here would be attractive to workers on the mainland. He said there should be third-party certification to ensure the workers were properly licensed and trained, not just in driving but in customer service. He also told Janice Wong that more could be done to encourage women to join the driving workforce:
Allowing tobacco transshipments deemed 'risky'  Listenfacebook
Former health secretary Sophia Chan says it is not ideal for the government to allow e-cigarettes to be re-exported via Hong Kong. She also says more needs to be done to stop young people from smoking. Last year, authorities banned all alternative smoking products from the city, including the transshipment of tobacco through Hong Kong. But now they want exemptions for re-exports, to support the logistics sector. Violet Wong reports:

US debt ceiling deal ready to reach Congress  Listenfacebook
After weeks of bitter negotiations, President Biden has reached a tentative deal with his Republican opponents to raise the national debt ceiling, which will allow the US government to borrow more money. The deal still needs to approved by a divided Congress. RTHK's Washington correspondent, Barry Wood, told Samantha Butler more about the deal and why it took so long to reach:
