Western Harbour Tunnel toll increases insignificant: transport expert  Listenfacebook
Transport expert Hung Wing-tat says the increase in tolls at the Western Harbour Tunnel from Sunday is not significant. He said private car will be charged HK$5 more while owners of commercial vehicles would probably pass on the extra charges to their customers. The tunnel company said it was reducing the concessions it had been offering because of rising costs. Hung, a fellow at the Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies, spoke to Jim Gould:
Administration accused of misleading people over land supply  Listenfacebook
The administration has been accused of trying to “brainwash” Hong Kong people into believing that developing country parks and reclamation are necessary to create more land for housing. The Liber Research Community has published a report criticising a public consultation on land supply options currently underway, saying it's "misleading and biased". It said it wants to give people the full picture, before the government-appointed Task Force on Land Supply launches a large-scale survey on Saturday, as part of the public consultation. A member of the Liber Research Community Brian Wong said the government wasn't being frank by saying there wasn’t enough vacant land for housing. He spoke to Jim Gould:
