Mainland police have arrested a 30-year-old suspect in connection with a stabbing spree inside a supermarket in Shenzhen on Sunday night.
The rampage at the Walmart store in Bao'an district left two people dead and nine others injured, including a young girl.
In an online statement, Shenzhen authorities say the suspect, surnamed Jiang, is an unemployed man from Chongqing.
They believe he has a history of mental illness and he's thought to have acted alone.
Officers are still investigating a motive for the attack.
