Priscilla Leung talks to RTHK's Alexandra Cheung
The Business and Professionals Alliance has urged the Chief Executive Carrie Lam to push for more opportunities for Hong Kong people in the upcoming Bay Area development plan and the One Belt, One Road initiative.

Speaking after submitting more than 200 proposals to be considered for the new Chief Executive’s first Policy Address, BPA lawmaker Priscilla Leung said Lam was open to their suggestions on the economy and social issues.

Leung said the BPA's main focus was on the economy. The party hopes the government will encourage small enterprises from Hong Kong to develop business in the Bay Area, and to lift restrictions on visas to encourage local talent to work in the area.

Leung told RTHK’s Alexandra Cheung that the challenge now is to turn the ideas into government policies.
