Sources have told RTHK a woman has tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus, but was initially placed in a normal ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital before she was transferred to an isolation ward at Princess Margaret Hospital.

The patient is said to be in her sixties, and is understood to have been in Hong Kong for the past 14 days, meaning if she was indeed infected, she must have somehow caught the virus here.

In a separate case, RTHK has also learned that a patient confirmed with the coronavirus in Shenzhen had stayed at a unit on the F Block of Mirador Mansion in Tsim Sha Tsui.
