Hong Kong's track cycling star Sarah Lee on Saturday kept alive her hopes of winning a medal at the Tokyo Games as she made it through to the semi-finals of the sprint competition.
Earlier, she pipped French opponent Mathilde Gros in Heat 4 of the 1/8th finals at the line by about half a wheel, a mere 0.019 seconds.
She posted a final 200m time of 11.201 seconds, considerably slower than her qualifying time.
Lee then raced Team GB's Katy Marchant and beat her 2-0 in their best-of-three quarter-final, on both occasions with a last-minute burst of speed to snatch it at the line.
She will next race in the semi-finals, which start at 09:18 on Sunday morning.
