Online news outlet Citizen News on Sunday said it will cease operations starting from Tuesday.
The announcement comes four days after Stand News announced that it was ceasing all operations on Wednesday, following a police raid on its office which saw seven people linked to the media outlet arrested.
In a Facebook post, the online media founded in 2017 said "drastic changes" in society and a "worsening media environment" in the past years have made it unable to achieve its mission without worries and concerns.
Describing itself as a small boat in a storm, Citizen News said it must ensure the safety of everyone on the boat.
It says its website will stop updating from Tuesday and will close down some time later. The news outlet also thanked its readers for their support.
