A Legco bills committee on Wednesday finished its initial scrutiny of the government's proposals on Basic Law Article 23 national security legislation.
The committee has so far spent around 40 hours looking at the bill, over six days.
The bill was gazetted last Friday.
The committee's chairman, Martin Liao, said all 181 clauses had been explained and scrutinised.
The committee will reconvene on Thursday morning to continue the legislative work, with the government set to table amendments to the bill for further discussion.
