AI-powered textbook in South Korea, How Microsoft's Copilot AI could be used by bad actors

More than 50,000 parents in South Korea have signed a petition opposing a plan to give every primary and secondary school student a tablet computer loaded with AI software.

While these AI tools promise to identify students' strengths and weaknesses in real time, parents are concerned about potential over-reliance on digital devices. 

South Korea aims to roll out the initiative next year, and expand it across all subjects, except art, physical education, music and ethics by 2028.
