‘SAR can contribute greatly to national space development’
The recent launch of the Shenzhou-23 space mission, which includes Hong Kong's first astronaut Lai Ka-ying, is the country's first crewed mission since the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
The blueprint paves the way for China's ongoing aerospace development and reaffirms its commitment to becoming a top space power.
Professor Quentin Parker, director of the Laboratory for Space Research at the University of Hong Kong, told Elvis Yu more about what's highlighted in the Five-Year Plan, and how the SAR can contribute to the nation's overall space development.
