Panda fever is gripping Hong Kong – thanks to the birth of twin cubs in August and the arrival a month later of two more of these national treasures as gifts from the central government.

The SAR is now home to six pandas, and that’s led to calls for the city to leverage them and develop a so-called “panda economy”.

Chengdu, the panda capital of China, has been actively developing a panda economy.
