The founder of a Hong Kong-based cybersecurity company says it is always advisable for firms to run software updates on a small number of their own computers to check for bugs. A doctor at the Chinese University's Faculty of Medicine says people should seek immediate medical help if they experience stroke-like symptoms. The research team found that Chinese people had a higher mortality rate by 12 percentage points than Europeans and Americans after developing intracerebral hemorrhage, a complication brought on by taking blood-thinning treatment to cure heart disease. Dr Bonaventure Ip at the faculty's division of neurology told Charlie Chun that current medication was safe to consume but strict control of potential risks was needed:

Conservationists in Cambodia are delighted by the arrival of 60 baby Siamese crocodiles - a hatching record for the endangered species this century. In a world filled with misinformation and disinformation, seeing something may not be enough to make you believe that it is true. With images that increasingly blur the line between reality and fantasy becoming more mainstream in everyday life, some people say they have become more sceptical about how they consume what they see around them, particularly on social media.
