Cathay Pacific's engineering team has identified 15 A350 aircraft that need to have an engine component replaced. As Hailey Yip reports, the airline says three of the planes have already been repaired:

A flight engineering expert says passengers need not worry about aircraft safety in the wake of Cathay's discovery of an engine glitch. Warren Chim, the deputy chair of the Institute of Engineers' aircraft division, says he thinks the airline's handling of the matter has been professional. He spoke to Damon Pang:

The government has launched a programme to make it easier for non-local professionals who have come to Hong Kong through talent schemes to join volunteer services. A revamped museum documenting China's resistance in the Second Sino-Japanese war opens to the public on Wednesday. The Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence focuses on the history of the war and the city's military affairs to cultivate a stronger sense of national esteem and patriotism. At least 12 people have died after a migrant boat capsized in the English Channel while attempting to reach Britain from northern France. More than 50 of those who'd been onboard were rescued from the treacherous waterway, with many still receiving treatment. Rescue efforts are ongoing for two more people still missing.
