The Education Bureau says it's monitoring a school in Wong Chuk Hang which has been accused of failing to refund a debenture of over half-a-million dollars to parents. A lawmaker says he has received feedback from more than 50 parents who say they haven't got their money back. DAB lawmaker Edward Leung told Elvis Yu the government should consider mandating schools to disclose how such revenue is being used.
HK to play vital role in creating logistics hub in GBA  Listenfacebook

A study by Invest Hong Kong - the government’s investment promotion agency - along with accounting firm Deloitte, says the city can transform into a green technology hub. It says with so many climate problems still waiting to be addressed, there are enormous business opportunities in the field. The study says Hong Kong can help China achieve carbon neutrality in five sectors, including transport, construction and waste management. United Nations experts have warned states supplying weapons to Israel, that they may be complicit in abuses the country is carrying out in its conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon. The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant last month for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza conflict. The decision was rejected by several countries, including Israel’s biggest ally, the United States. The US is one of the biggest exporters of weapons to Israel, as Jamie Clarke reports.

South Korea's former defence minister has reportedly attempted suicide at a detention centre, where he is being held, while authorities investigate last week's imposition of martial law. Police, meanwhile, said that security guards blocked a raid on President Yoon Suk-yeol's offices to investigate his decision. The president wasn't there at the time, and hasn't been seen in public since apologising on Saturday for trying to impose martial law. Jack Barton, a journalist in Seoul, told Janice Lo the raid aimed to gather evidence to show that some officials knew in advance that Yoon was going to declare martial law.
