West Kowloon arts hub outlines residential development Listen
Two-thousand private residential flats are to be offered in seven blocks that will be built in West Kowloon. The managing authority of the arts hub there said footbridges and walkways will connect the project with the Kowloon MTR station. As Frank Yung reports.

The vice-chairman of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Bernard Chan, says building commercial and residential facilities has always been part of the plan to generate income. Plans have now been unveiled to build seven residential blocks south of Austin Road West, generating nearly 2,000 flats. Chan also says the government's conditional approval of a funding proposal allows the arts hub to ease a financial shortfall. He spoke to Frank Yung.

Rescuers searching for miners trapped in flooded India mine Listen
Divers have retrieved the body of one of at least nine miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine in a remote district of India’s northeast.
