Government task force to investigate cases of trapped SAR residents in Thailand Listen
A six-member task force led by Undersecretary for Security Michael Cheuk has set off for Thailand. They will investigate reports of Hong Kong residents allegedly lured to Southeast Asian countries, and upon arrival, unlawfully detained to engage in illegal work. As Elvis Yu reports, some family members of alleged victims petitioned the government to step up their rescue efforts.

Thousands of policymakers and business leaders from around the world are gathering in Hong Kong for the Asian Financial Forum. The annual event kicks off on Monday morning at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. India set for 'largest human gathering in history' Listen
The Hindu festival Kumbh Mela kicks-off in India on Monday, which will see a staggering 400 million devotees flock to river banks in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh over a six-week period. It's expected to be the largest human gathering in history. Pilgrims will come from across India and beyond to take part in elaborate rituals, prayers and religious processions with elephants, as well as horse-back parades and chariots. Our South Asia correspondent, Murali Krishnan, told Azam Khan that the logistical preparation for the mela, or fair, is unprecedented.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has urged Muslim leaders to make gender apartheid a crime under international law. She's been speaking at a summit organised by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Muslim World League.
