Hong Kong’s windsurfers were finally able to make some waves in the south of France, with Mui Ma ranking fourth after finishing her first day of Olympic races.
Ma finished sixth and fifth in her two races respectively. There are five races in total.
Her fellow windsurfer Alex Cheng ranked 20th after his first race.
The SAR’s skiff sailors, Akira Sakai and Russell Aylsworth, remained in second to last place after completing half of their races.
The windsurfing competitions were postponed for a day due to a lack of wind down in Marseilles.
