The government will host a variety show the night before the Legislative Council elections in December, in a bid to encourage more people to cast their ballots.
All seven digital media organisations in Hong Kong, including RTHK, will broadcast the show live from 8pm on December 6.
Constitutional affairs minister Erick Tsang gave a press conference in Tseung Kwan O on Thursday to announce the arrangements.
Free tickets will be available, and singers and artistes from different stations will take part in the show.
Meanwhile, seven senior officials made an appeal to voters to cast their ballots, using six dialects.
In a video clip posted on the social media page of civil service chief Ingrid Yeung, they used Hakka, Hokkien, Chiuchow, Shandong, Cantonese and Mandarin to ask people to support the candidates of their choosing.
