Voter turnout in the geographical constituencies of the 2025 Legislative Council election surpassed 17 percent as of 2.30 pm Sunday.

The Registration and Electoral Office reported that 719,000 people voted in the first seven hours, representing 17.4 percent of eligible voters.

New Territories South West recorded the highest turnout at 18.1 percent of its electorate, while New Territories North East was lowest at 16.66 percent.

Turnout was higher in the functional constituencies at 21.5 percent, and for the Election Committee constituency, at 91.3 percent.

Polls close at 11.30 pm Sunday.
