Incumbent legislators Starry Lee and Kitson Yang on Monday won the two seats for the Kowloon Central geographical constituency in the 2025 Legco Elections.
The National People's Congress Standing Committee member received 53,529 votes to come out on top of six candidates in what was the most competitive directly-contested constituency in the elections.
Lee said her party will first focus on post-disaster relief efforts following the Tai Po inferno, including reforms of building management and fire safety.
She will also work on other pressing issues such as how to better protect local jobs, and enhancing health services.
After her win, Ms Lee reflected on what she described as a 'unique' election.
"I think we all know that we have a lot of challenges in the society. Different elections will see different challenges, like for example, we all know that our economic development needs to be diversified, and of course we need to handle the fire accident that happened in Tai Po," she told reporters.
"All these I think have accumulated to a unique situation."
Independent Kitson Yang, who won the constituency's other seat, got 28,161 votes.
Wong Tai Sin district councillor Leo Yeung came in a distant third.
The result was the first of the 10 geographical constituencies to be announced.
