Bill Tang took one of the seats for Kowloon East by a landslide, while newcomer Cheung Pui-kong won the constituency's remaining spot in the Legco 2025 election.

The FTU's Tang won 53,675 votes, while Cheung, who's a district councillor, gained 29,116 votes.

Leung Sze-wan was a close third, with 28,834 votes.
