Chief Executive John Lee on Thursday said officials must adopt a “reform mindset” to ensure Hong Kong’s own five-year plan sets forward looking, strategic goals.

He made the remarks while chairing a meeting of the Steering Group on Integration into National Development.

In a Facebook post, the CE said he would lead the SAR government to build a systematic policy framework that proactively aligns with the nation’s 15th Five-Year Plan, making more comprehensive, precise, and detailed strategic deployments in key development areas.

He added the plan would give Hong Kong a clear roadmap and timetable for social and economic development.
