Medal bonanza puts wind in sails of HK chase

Hong Kong, China's sailing squad have bagged two gold, two silver and a bronze medal at the Asian Games on Saturday.

In the girls' windsurfing iQFoil event, Cheung Tsz-yuet sailed to gold by finishing with nine net points and first in a majority of the 11 races.

Japan's Akari Oshima took silver, followed by Thailand's Chanatkan Charoensuk.

In the boy's event, Wong Tsz-ho also also won a majority of his races to top the podium with 13 net points.

Japan came second and Singapore third.

On the women's side, Ma Kwan-ching secured silver.

In the boy's ILCA 4 dinghy, Tiago Cheng De Villemor Salgado took silver with 27 net points. South Korea took gold, and Singapore silver.

In the girls' category, Huang Zixi bagged silver with 29 net points, losing to Thailand's Pinchanok Klaysomboon. South Korean Lee Songha rounded out the podium.

The SAR team clinched a total of four gold, four silver and two bronze medals at the Games.
