Team Hong Kong, China on Wednesday added a fourth medal in karate at the Asian Games in Japan after claiming bronze in the men's team kata event.

Howard Hung, Martin Li and Tang Yu-hin prevailed over Chinese Taipei 3-2 in a closely contested bout at Toyohashi Gymnasium.

The victory adds to the SAR's already impressive karate campaign at the Games, following Hung's bronze in the individual kata, Grace Lau's silver in the women's individual kata, and Wong Cheuk-lee's bronze medal finish in the women's kumite -68kg category.

Macao, China will battle for gold against Kuwait in the final bout on Wednesday afternoon.
