Hong Kong rider Annie Ho and her equine partner Lord Sandro K wrapped up their journey at the National Games on Tuesday as they missed the podium by finishing seventh in the Dressage Individual Final in Shenzhen.

The pair scored 66.935 points, 0.275 points behind the sixth-placed competitors.

Ho told reporters that she and her new partner gained experience from the race.

"Yeah, it's a good experience for me and with the horse, it's a new horse for me, so it's just gaining partnership and mileage, in big atmospheres and stuff like that," she said.

"Every test is a good experience and we learn from it."

Xinjiang's Liu Tao topped the podium, with Xu Mofei from Shanghai and Guangdong's Gu Bing finishing in second and third respectively.
