Tickets for events of the National Games for Persons with Disabilities to be held in Hong Kong went on sale on Wednesday afternoon, priced at HK$11 each.

Tickets for boccia, wheelchair fencing and para table tennis can be bought online or at 11 China Travel Service branches.

"Tickets will be sold in the form of event passes. A ticket holder with one ticket may watch all competitions of the event," organisers said.

Entry to a separate table tennis event in the city, which is part of the National Special Olympic Games, is free.

Specific arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the mass participation para dance sport competition, another event to be held in Hong Kong, were handed out for free in September, according to organisers.

The National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the National Special Olympic Games for athletes with intellectual disabilities will be co-hosted by Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong from December 8 to 15.
