China won the first gold medal of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, in the women's light-weight double sculls rowing event.
The Chinese pair of Zou Jiaqi and Qiu Xiuping took an early lead, which only grew larger, as they finished 9.71 seconds ahead of their closest rivals, Uzbekistan, who took the silver medal.
Indonesia finished in the bronze medal position, completing the top three.
