Hong Kong swimmer Siobhan Haughey had to settle for silver in 50 metres freestyle at the Asian Games on Thursday.
She finished the race in 24.34 seconds, 0.08 seconds behind China's Zhang Yufei, who set a new Asian Games record. Another Chinese swimmer, Cheng Yujie, finished third.
Haughey was aiming for her third individual gold medal in Hangzhou, having topped the podium for the 100- and 200-metre freestyle races.
The star swimmer is due to compete in the women's 4 x 200-metre freestyle relay final later on Thursday.
