Dozens of people paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the war against Japan during a wreath-laying ceremony in Sai Kung on Saturday.
The event, organised by the Society of the Veterans of the Original Hong Kong Independent Battalion of The Dong Jiang Column, took place at the Memorial Monument for the Sai Kung Martyrs in Tsam Chuk Wan.
Home Affairs Secretary Alice Mak and culture chief Rosanna Law were among those attending the memorial honouring those who died in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
