Hong Kong climber Shoji Chan secured a seventh-place finish in the men's lead climbing final at the National Games on Thursday.

The event was won by Hubei's Pan Yufei, who was the only competitor to successfully reach the top of the climbing route.

Mu Zerun of Shaanxi and Guangdong's Hu Junzhe claimed the silver and bronze medals.

Chan came in seventh place out of eight athletes.
